Subject: Instead of perfect, do this

Hey Ya'll

Happy Monday and I hope you had a great weekend.

I have a simple but strong message today for those of us always looking for the next best program or the new shiny plan.

Here's the thing. Most of us already know what to do and just aren't doing it.

For our health...

-we aren't strength training regularly

-we aren't moving our bodies enough

-we aren't eating enough protein and are eating too much processed food

-we aren't going to bed on timeĀ 

-we are spending too much time on social media

There's more, but I will stop there.

I used to do this. I wish I could go back and find all of the scribblers (I was and still am a sribbler kind of guy) that i created the perfect workout programs and meal plans.

I would spend HOURS on bodybuilding.com figuring out how I was going to workout and what I was going to eat to get super jacked.

I would even write really neatly compared to normal.

And then I would do.....maybe one or two weeks of workouts and not much on the meal plan.

Instead of spending hours making the perfect plan, what if I just got started instead with the things I knew I needed to do.

Would I have gotten further ahead faster? I would say so.

So if you are out there searching for the next best thing and waiting to get started until you find it, I would ask you to stop looking and start doing all the things you know you need to do first.
